Wilfrid Park Adds Sonzero, Pritts and Strause Brothers to Roster

Joni Dick, Director of Sales for Toronto-based Wilfrid Park, and Angie Colgoni, the company’s founder and Executive Producer, have announced the signing of three more directors to the shop’s roster.  

Joining are Jim Sonzero, who is represented in the US by Hyrdraulx Filmz; Robb Pritts, who is represented in the States by Backyard; and the Strause Brothers, Colin and Greg, who are also with Hydraulx in the US.

Sonzero is known for his stylish storytelling, VFX and automotive spots, and is also one of the more highly regarded fashion and beauty directors in the business.  His work in the category includes such brands as Cover Girl, Maybelline and L'Oreal.

Pritts is a versatile director known for his comedic talent performance, engaging visual storytelling and the ability to integrate visual effects into his work.  His signature style is to find the uncommon take on otherwise banal situations and behavior.  His work has been nominated for every major award in the industry, and he’s worked with such celebrities as Jerry Seinfeld, Denis Leary, George Hamilton and William Shatner.

The Brothers Strause have evolved from being self-taught visual effects wizards to renowned directors.  Working via their boutique FX house, Hydraulx, they’ve have contributed VFX sequences to a string of blockbuster films including “Avatar,” “2012,” “Wolverine,” “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and others, along with working on TV spots for such brands as Scion.
